9 Cleaning Hacks

#1 Make Fridge Clean Up Fast & Easy

Save time wiping down the fridge by laying down common plastic food wrap on the shelves and then just peel it away and any food stains and grime away when cleaning the fridge.

#2 Fan Blade Dust

Clean fan blades faster and without getting dust in your face or on the furniture by slipping an old pillowcase over each blade then carefully sliding it off holding it flat with one hand over the blade and one hand under the blade. The dust will b trapped inside the pillow case and not on the carpet!
To clean the pillow case simple take it outside and turn it inside out and shake the out the dust then throw it in with a load of wash.

#3 Lemony Fresh Microwave

Cut a lemon in half and place it in a microwave safe glass bowl filled with water. Microwave it until the water for about 2-3 minutes and then let it sit and steam for another minute. Now, you can easily wipe down the mess and leave it smelling fresh and clean.

#4 Vent Covers

Wrap the butter knife with a wet rag with cleaning solution, and now you can squeeze into those narrow vents.

#5 Venetian Blind Sock Puppet

Grab a clean old sock, make a puppet, and now you can dip it in cleaning solution and wipe window blinds at 2x the speed!

#6 Venetian Blinds Tongs

If you’re not a fan of the sock puppet method, use a pair of grilling tongs with a wet washcloth to wipe both sides of blinds!

#7 Sliding Window Rail

Hard to clean narrow window rails? Bend an old toilet paper tube into a narrow shape that can vacuum in the narrow area.

#8 Hardwater on Shower Heads

Shower heads can get buildup, especially if you have hard water. Have no fear! You can give it deep clean by wrapping a plastic bag around your shower head that is filled with equal parts vinegar and water.

#9 Dirty Sneakes

We can’t help much with the smell of sneakers but if you want them to look new again, try nail polish remover to remove stains from the soles.
